Acidente frontal entre trens pr\u00f3ximo a Machu Picchu resulta em morte de maquinista e dezenas de feridos<\/h2>\n

Um grave acidente envolvendo dois trens ocorreu pr\u00f3ximo \u00e0 famosa cidadela inca de Machu Picchu, no Peru, resultando na morte de um maquinista e deixando cerca de 40 pessoas feridas. A colis\u00e3o ocorreu na ferrovia que serve como principal rota para visitantes do local hist\u00f3rico, que recebe mais de um milh\u00e3o de turistas anualmente.<\/p>\n

Autoridades policiais e de sa\u00fade est\u00e3o investigando o incidente entre as composi\u00e7\u00f5es operadas pelas empresas Inca Rail S.A. e PeruRail S.A., que transportam majoritariamente turistas para Machu Picchu. Segundo relatos de um profissional da \u00e1rea da sa\u00fade, aproximadamente 20 dos feridos apresentavam quadro considerado relativamente grave.<\/p>\n

Al\u00e9m disso, as autoridades destacaram que entre os feridos h\u00e1 turistas estrangeiros, o que acrescenta complexidade \u00e0 assist\u00eancia e atendimento. Imagens divulgadas logo ap\u00f3s o acidente nas redes sociais mostraram os trens severamente danificados e posicionados frente a frente sobre os trilhos, com vidros quebrados espalhados nos arredores e pessoas recebendo socorro ao lado da via f\u00e9rrea.<\/p>\n
